Fresh Peach Dessert Cake Recipe

This is the summer season so finding fresh peaches is plentiful right now. One of the things I enjoy making is some peach cake which is an awesome dessert cake.

Peach Dessert Cake

7 peaches (peeled and sliced)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pint sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 stick of butter

Combine cake mix and butter with a pastry blender in a medium-sized bowl. Press cake mixture in a 9 x 13" lightly greased baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Spread fresh sliced peaches over the baked cake crust. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Combine sour cream and egg. Pour sour cream mixture over the peaches. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until done.
